Journeys to Adulthood
Over the past five years, a team of sociologists from the Institute for Research on Children, Youth and Family at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University, has been following about a thousand people born between 1990 and 1994. Are you curious about how these young people think about themselves and the world? Where and with whom do they live? What are their relationships with their parents like? What importance do they place on their romantic relationships, and what prospects do they have as they start their professional careers? This book offers the answers. It will capture your interest not only with its thematic complexity, but also with its focus on new socio-psychological phenomena, such as the identity of young Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic or the concept of "friends with benefits".
