Josef Heyduk: Rozára

One of the short stories by the now forgotten author Josef Heyduk, who entered the readers' consciousness as an astute feyetonist and cursive writer and as an excellent translator of more demanding French literature. The short story Rozára was published in a collection of shorter texts: The Tempter, which is a cross-section of Heyduk's work, from the ballad-like Rosara, reminiscent of the legacy of ancient tragedies, to stories captivatingly framed by a sensitive perception of nature. He succeeds in describing the stories of people who had to cope with adversity and finally had to undergo a crucial test of a decisive life situation. reads: Jiri Bartoska.
