Japanese fairy tales

Oriental fairy tales, unlike European ones, are less drastic and bloodthirsty. They remind the Czech reader and listener rather of fables. Not only because their heroes are animals, but also because they see humans as a natural part of the whole of nature. In addition, each of the stories contains a moral lesson - the abstracted experience of generations of humanity.
