Jane Austen: Anne Elliot

The novel Anna Elliot belongs to the trio of Jane Austen's late novels (it was published posthumously, in. 1818 under the title Persuasion), whose heroines are initially condemned to the role of Cinderella and win love not only by their angelic nature but also by their intelligence, wit and moral fortitude. The classic social novel about love lost and found has been made into a film several times.
