Jan Ryska: Jožánek

The parents of five-year-old Jožka Karpíšek go to London for two months on business and entrust the boy to the care of their neighbour, Mrs Pokorná. But Jožánek runs away to his grandfather, who is a former ferryman. He lives by the water with his dog Sultan and his donkey Kyliján. Here the boy spends magical holidays, catches fish with his grandfather, learns to swim, goes shopping with his donkey. Petr Haničinec reads from a book by Jan Ryska, which was later based on the title of the film she herself inspired: Grandpa, Kylian and me.
