It doesn't matter

Releasing your first "proper collection" at the end of your eighth decade means, among other things, that you can afford to do almost anything, but you don't want to, you don't need to, you don't have to. Being able, yet not having to, wisely unlearning what is known, having perspective, and cultivating a wit that can only be acquired through lived years – these form just one thread in Michael Třeštík's poetry.
