Birdie and Heather are best friends and roommates. Heather is responsible and has clarity in her life. Birdie is a bit of a gunner and doesn't know what to do with himself. When Heather makes a surprise trip to Italy with her new love, cancelling her dream summer job as a sommelier in Scotland, Birdie decides to fill in for her. I mean, what could be so difficult about that? Red with meat, white with fish...
And so Birdie spends the summer at a luxurious five-star resort. But can she fool the rich customers while serving wine, which, unlike her roommate, she doesn't understand? And most importantly - can she keep from giving herself away to the handsome and sympathetic chef James, the first man she really likes?
