Detective Easton versus a killer on the loose

A serial killer accidentally set free becomes a nightmare for San Francisco - and a deadly challenge for Detective Frost Easton. Four years ago, Rudy Cutter was sentenced to life in prison for his actions. Someone deliberately falsified files to put him behind bars. After this machination is uncovered, Rudy, the killer of Frost's sister, is free again. But Frost intends to fix that as quickly as possible. He finds an ally in Eden Shay, who is writing a book about Cutter. And who fears his revenge. But playing a winning game with a killer who is about to strike again is not easy. Not when Frost is also facing his own demons. Not when the game is so personal. And not when the killer's next move is far from what Easton expects.
