Infectious diseases and intracellular parasitism of bacteria
The publication is a novelty on our book market in terms of its content and concept. The author is a well-known expert and renowned university teacher. The publication is intended for both clinicians and theoreticians - microbiologists, infectious disease specialists, internists, biologists and immunologists can benefit from it. Intracellular bacterial pathogens are a diverse group of microorganisms causing very serious infectious diseases. Current medicine has only limited means of defence against them. This fact stems from our still imperfect understanding of the molecular nature of the relationship between these bacteria and their hosts. One way to contribute to a better understanding of the interrelationships between intracellular bacterial pathogens and their hosts is to perfectly map the expression possibilities of microbial genes under conditions that correspond to the coevolutionary relationships established between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. This publication therefore focuses on the current understanding of bacterial genes, expression of their products and construction of molecular structures, that determine the virulence of bacteria and their ability to cause disease, is therefore dedicated to knowledge at the interface of microbiology, Infectology, molecular biology and immunology.
