I can laugh about it now

Former model Adina Mandlová was introduced to the world of film by Hugo Haas, who was her intimate friend for a time. Initially, she was cast in roles of socialites and spoilt young ladies, but she gradually developed into a fine performer of character roles. She wrote down her memories in a document that tells a story not only about her, but also about the era, the acting environment and the character of the nation. The book is supplemented with many previously unpublished visual materials.
