The seventh volume of a magnificent historical saga by Vlastimil Vondruška
The last part of the saga presents the years when Vladislav Jagellonsky became King of Bohemia, who gradually managed to blunt the edge of hostile foreign policy, especially that of the Pope. Eventually the stigma of heresy was removed from Bohemia, for after decades of struggle, Utraquism was recognized by all ecclesiastical authorities. The Hussite epic thus came to its conclusion.
However, instead of calming down the domestic situation, new political and social conflicts began to simmer. Gradually, the older members of the Prokop family die and their descendants take their place. However, they know little about their parents' ideals and seek their own world. The world of medieval faith is replaced by a free-thinking Renaissance. The fate of the Hussite generations of the family is coming to a close.
