Former CNB Governor on How to shed pounds and weaken the crown
This book was published during the author's "post-government sabbatical" and recalls important events and important personalities of the economic, political and social world of the last thirty years. It offers, among other things, the governor's view of three Czech presidents, most of the post-Soviet prime ministers and stars of the world and domestic banking sky.
In addition, Miroslav Singer writes openly about his private life: about his favorite music, his relationship with wine, or how he's dealing with his weight. In a separate chapter, he explains why the central bank under his leadership proceeded to weaken the national currency.
