Hotel and MY

Insights of a hotelier or How total amateurs exposed themselves to the harshest reality. What happens when you get a hotel in the middle of a tourist paradise, but you have no idea how to run it? This is exactly what screenwriter and writer Miroslav Adamec experienced when he and his wife decided to take over the family business and become a hotelier. This is not a success story, but an endless roller coaster of crazy situations, exhausting days and unexpected lessons in humanity and business. With humour and irony, the author reveals the backstage of hotel life, where nothing is as idyllic as it seems. Prepare to be confronted with rude tenants, stubborn staff and a reality that sometimes resembles a ridiculous comedy rather than a business plan. And all this in the magical backdrop of the Bohemian Paradise. Hotel and Us is an honest, funny and sometimes even grotesque account of what it is like to stand on your own two feet, even if you don't really know what you are getting into. It's not just a book for humour lovers, it's also for those who aren't afraid to dream - and occasionally get burnt in the process. And definitely don't forget - sirloin steak should always be made of vegetables!
