Short story audiobooks about people in white coats
A skilled doctor who's had a difficult operation. An old patient who finds a kindred spirit in a kindly nurse. Families that are brought together only by a serious illness. These are just a few of the wide range of stories that cardiologist and writer Josef Veselka brings in his new short story collection Špitál. Many of them deal with difficult topics - among others, the covida pandemic - but also with humour and, above all, professional insight, which does not detract from the humanity of the texts. Most of his short stories were also published in the magazine Pátek of the daily Lidové noviny.
