Raymond is a young, very skilled thief and technomage. Many rich people have already " felt" his visits. However, even a master carpenter sometimes gets bored, and Lady Luck didn' t sleep well that day. He found himself in the royal torture chamber, and that' s not a place anyone would want to visit just for the sake of it. However, he is given a choice - executioner, or one " job" for the royal wizard. There is nothing to do in this situation, but the young man does not realize that his choice will turn his entire life upside down. His fate has just become intertwined with the politics and intentions of the world' s most powerful masters.
