Power intrigues of the Vítkovs
In the first half of the 14th century. South Bohemia is ruled by the Lords of the Rose, the powerful Vítkovs, who are more concerned with power intrigue than with the happenings in the backwater villages. Brother Zdislav, a Johannite, formerly a Templar, comes here at the request of his superior Ulman. Something is happening in the former Templar fortress that even the old fox Ulman can't handle.
Will the ex-Templar give him advice? Will they find out where, and more importantly how, Joan of Arc Otto disappeared?
