Getting started with C++ programming

This book introduces the reader to the C++ programming language. It is based on the use of the OnlineGDB Beta development environment, which is available on the web, so there is no need to install any development tools. In the first chapters, it demonstrates the basics of programming in C++ using simple examples – how to create a program, how to debug it (i.e., how to find and remove errors), etc.
Unlike typical textbooks, however, it aims to show this programming language in its full breadth. Therefore, in the following chapters, the reader will get at least a superficial introduction to object types and the basics of object-oriented programming, function and object type templates, and other tools that C++ provides. Given the scope of this book, this is of course only a first approximation, but it will allow the reader to get an idea of the possibilities that this beautiful programming language offers.
