Fruits of education

A comedy about what happens when Russian soul, spiritualism and the need to buy land mix. A production from 1962, in which you will hear the legendary actor Otomar Korbelar, Nelly Gaier, Eduard Kohout, Jiřina Šejbalová, Stanislav Neumann and others. Tolstoy wrote his comedy The Fruits of Learning in parallel with his tragedy The Reign of Darkness in 1886, but did not finish it. Three years later, his children and wife convinced him to finish the play for the purposes of a home performance in Jasná Poljana. Tolstoy was finally convinced and even took over the direction. The cast included his four children, two nieces, a court prosecutor from Tula and a judge from Moscow.
