Frostbite

Twenty-eight-year-old Merit, recently turned into a vampire against her will, has found her way into the dark circles of Chicago's vampire underworld. There, she discovered that there are far more supernaturals than it seemed – and more than the public could ever imagine. However, some secrets could no longer be kept, either from humans or from the paranormals themselves.
Now, Merit is on the hunt, racing across the rugged American Midwest in pursuit of a rogue supernatural who is determined to steal an ancient artefact that could unleash catastrophic evil upon the world. But Merit herself is also being hunted. An enemy from Chicago is on her trail, and nothing will stop them from seizing the magical artefact for themselves. There is no room for mercy. There are no rules. No lives will be spared. The hunt is on.
