Frost and Games

Algor. Of all the inhabited planets, it is the coldest. Emperor Andrej Korwarian's rule is far from warm, not to mention his collaboration with the formidable ecclesiastical order of Gratians, forbidden everywhere except on Algor.
Viridian. Princess Victoria receives a marriage proposal she can't refuse, and her feelings play no part in it.
Menabaran. Sisters Nikola and Natalie have enough problems of their own. They are uninterested in the ongoing elections, where a new leader is vying for power with secret and, to say the least, dubious allies. Nevertheless, their paths will soon cross with his, and Police Commissioner Preston begins to investigate the strangest case of his career.
Relations between the planets are about to change. The changes will affect rulers and ordinary citizens alike, not to mention the extraordinary ones. But only a few can expect a change for the better.
