Now she intends to rebuild not only her career but also her relationship with her son, whom she was forbidden to see while in prison. On her very first day on the way to work, Madison spots a crashed car beneath a cliff by the roadside. It's October, dark, cold, and pouring with rain, so it doesn't surprise her that someone lost control on the wet road and ended up off the tarmac. She goes to help the people involved in the accident, but in the car, she finds only a lot of blood and an abandoned little girl, about a year old. An investigation full of complications is soon launched. Meanwhile, Nate's father, Jack Connor, gets in touch after a long time, which doesn't bode well. Will the private investigator take justice into his own hands, or will he, with the greatest self-denial, leave the devilish priest to the police?
