Flames of vengeance

Successful Canadian author Evan Winter's unforgettable, ruthless and thrilling fantasy series continues with volume two, in which a deposed queen must join forces with a young warrior to wrest her throne from her usurpers and save her people. Desperate to delay an attack by the Xidda natives, Tau and his queen hatch a dangerous plan. If Tau succeeds, it buys the Queen time to rally her troops and launch a massive offensive against her own capital, where meanwhile the traitors are impersonating her sister as the "true" Queen of the Omehians. If Tsiora manages to conquer the city, regain the throne and unite her people, then the Omehians will have at least some chance of surviving the impending invasion...
