Expedition to Cvokáčov

Do you know the town of Crackpots? No? Well, I'm surprised, because everybody talks about this town. And everyone wants to visit it. It's the most interesting place in the world. Who wouldn't want to see a fountain with a fabulous water slide, chat with library elves or meet a little boy who made his own sea? In addition, you can try a lemonade shower on the never-ending pilgrimage, or get shot with a cannon into the friendly town of Budlíkov. You don't believe me? So come and see! LUKÁŠ PAVLÁSEK (* 1978) Comedian, actor and writer Lukáš Pavlásek entered the field of literature with books for children and young people, in which he combined hilarious nonsense poems with his own illustrations (If You Wait a Little Longer, So Here Comes the Crocodile, 2011; First-class fools have discipline problems, 2013; In the darkness as in the ranch go three urinals, 2016). In 2015, a humorous prose for adults, From the Diary of an Itinerant Man, was published, telling stories from the life of an Itinerant Man's party. The successful title was followed by the sequel, The Iťák Returns the Punch (2017), and the final part of the trilogy, The Year of the Iťák (2021). A collection of poems and photographs, The Seagull and the Sea, was published in 2018, followed by a collection of short stories, The Eaters' Competition (2019). The latest books for the children's reader are Incredibly Crazy Stories (2020) and Crazy School (2022).
