Evaluation of pupils

Assessment of pupils in the classroom, as a necessary part of the educational process, is very complex. It touches all the participants in the teaching process and brings into the classroom both cheerful situations and satisfaction, as well as very serious moments that significantly affect the life of a child and young person. Evaluation brings joy, satisfaction, confidence boosting, but also sadness, grief and tension. On the one hand, it positively motivates pupils, on the other hand, it can lead them to look for "side-roads" to achieve awards. It can provoke quality performance, but it can also contribute to misunderstanding and even hostility. And that is why this publication was created. We believe that it will be appreciated especially by teachers, future teachers, students of pedagogical and other faculties, as well as parents of pupils.
