What should you do when your back hurts? Exercise? Rest? Wait for a doctor? It always depends on the cause.

As a physiotherapist for top athletes, Michal Novotný often has only a few minutes to understand a problem and solve it. Thanks to this, he has learned to quickly recognise what is causing the pain and how to relieve it effectively.
He now translates his findings into a clear manual. Using targeted questions and simple tests, you will find out whether the source of your problems is a muscle, nerve, joint, disc or fascia. And you will choose the right course of action accordingly. Because back pain troubles people in offices just as much as it does top athletes.
The book also includes QR codes with videos of exercises and Michal's preventive programme for a healthy back.
In the book, you will learn, among other things:
To correctly navigate back pain using a few key questions and simple tests.
To recognise the warning signs for when you need to see a doctor and not experiment with exercises.
To choose the right exercises according to the specific cause instead of randomly trying universal procedures.
To adjust your running, walking or sports load so that it supports regeneration, not further strain.
To set up a short daily protocol that strengthens back stability, mobility, and resilience.
Your pain is not the enemy: it is information. Learn to understand it and find long-term relief.

What I value most about Michal's approach is that he doesn't promise miracles. Instead, he offers something much more valuable: the chance to finally understand the cause and find out what to do next.
