Enslaved by passion

Brynhild Hendriksen must marry an unloved man at the King's request. The arranged wedding is to make peace between the Danish and Norwegian territories, which has been hanging in the balance since Harald I. Blue Tooth embraces Christianity and forces his Scandinavian ally to renounce the Norse gods. Brynhild is willing to comply with the king's wishes, even though her heart has been captured by a Scottish visitor who is one of her old enemies. Evander Brodie of Sumburgh has no idea of the birth origins of the red-haired islander he suddenly stumbles upon, and is driven only by a vision to avenge the death of the woman he loves. Their fates take an unexpected turn when Solveig, the younger daughter of a Danish chieftain, escapes from the castle and both sisters fall into captivity. The historical novel by the young author is full of adventure, intrigue, but especially passion, so it will probably excite especially lovers of this genre.
