Dry

During the hot and dry summer, the level of Lake Farrisvannet drops and what should have remained underwater forever appears at the bottom. A motorbike is buried in the mud with the body of a young man for whom police launched a manhunt eight years ago. On the opposite bank, a gold chain with the letter A is found. The same one worn by a 14-year-old Swedish girl who disappeared without a trace four years ago. William Wisting faces two intricate cases and gradually uncovers a truth that has been carefully hidden for a long time.
