Don't You Dare Forget Me
Chinco is not a neighbourhood for spoiled countesses and pampered cry-babies with implanted enzyme enhancers, neurotransmitter accelerators, and other supporting brain biotechnologies. Chinco is the natural state of things in its original form, the way the world was before the iPhone 6. Chinco is an urban reservation with preserved technological development.
From the perspective of a jaded civilisation, however, it is a tumour in the middle of a technological megacity that controls and directs the well-being of its inhabitants with sensors and cameras. But why does this magnificent civilisational technological structure decide to solve one of its problems in backward Chinco of all places? Have they finally understood that the only way forward is a return to the original and the natural, or is it, on the contrary, a great leap to a higher level, beyond any human consciousness?
Basically, I couldn't care less, if only those corpses with black candles around them weren't messing up my stats. I hate those conceited morons from the City with implanted mobiles who naively think that Chinco CID doesn't have a mind of its own. It does. And it doesn't need any neurotransmitter accelerators for it (that is, for me) to realise that there's more at stake here than brutally severed hands or heads.
