A dark case from the two-time winner of the Best Czech Crime Novel Award
Tomáš Volf solves the most shocking case of his career. On the anniversary of Hitler's birth, several people die on an abandoned farm. Is this a crime with racist overtones or an attempt to create a false trail? A disoriented boy rings the children's crisis centre in the middle of the night. He claims his family was traded to strangers. But when private investigator Eva Černá takes an interest in the situation, his apparent delirium emerges in horrifying detail.
