Dig graves

THEY TOOK WHATEVER THEY WANTED. BUT THIS BOOTY WILL SEND THEM TO THE GRAVE. A MASS GRAVE.

Ctirad Záhorský is a student like any other. Well, except for the fact he recently received an offer that couldn't be refused, and it wasn't from the mafia, but worse – from the state. He is to undergo rigorous training and become an elite assassin, later to be known as the Scarecrow. Which, of course, doesn't mean he doesn't need to get his course credit.

At the last minute, he therefore joins a group heading for a practical placement in the Czech-Polish borderlands. The task sounds simple: uncover and catalogue the graves at a site where a skirmish once took place between a Red Army detachment and an SS unit.

The problem is that the local landscape still looks like it's fresh out of the war, and the local inhabitants don't seem quite right either. But the students don't need to worry too much about that. They should be more concerned that the forests are deep and they are not alone in them.

And yes, Ctirad is a long way from being the Scarecrow. But if he plans on surviving, he's going to have to become him pretty damn quick…
