The mysterious death of the hermit Balthazar
The burgrave of Prague Castle, Johann of Podehus, turns to Oldrich of Chlum for help. Some time ago, he and his son-in-law Jaroš founded Pušperk Castle near Domažlice, which is intended to contribute to the protection of the provincial border. Relations with Bavaria are now tense and war is likely imminent. Therefore, any unusual event can be a warning. His son-in-law found the dead hermit Balthazar near the castle, who lived in a forest hut near a sacred spring. But who would kill a man with a holy reputation who owned nothing and bothered no one?
