Dashenka or life of a puppy

Dashenka from the mouth of Pavel Socha

Dear children, you must have noticed that the dog on the cover of the audiobook is not the fox terrier Dášeňka, about whom Karel Čapek writes. You're right. This puppy is our Bleska (Australian kelpie). In appearance, she is a far cry from the famous Dášeňka, but trust me, behaves exactly according to the puppy manual, ...which the writer wrote in 1933... Parents will probably think again.., how presumptuous it is to release Dashenka afterwards, read by such masters as Karel Höger, Vlastimil Brodský or Václav Vydra. You're right again, it's presumptuous, but even the masters started out somehow... That's why I approached Pavel Socha, who is spending his first acting season at the Horácké divadlo in Jihlava, so he's on it, in terms of experience, likewise, as the heroine of the book Dash... How he did the job, I'll leave it to your kind judgment. The disgruntled will forgive me. Sincerely, the publisher.
