Corncockle

Smelling of hay, milk and tree bark, this return to childhood is full of colourful country life, its inhabitants, visitors, relationships and grudges passed down through the generations. Behind the curtain of idyll and carefree play, however, bubble darkness, hidden resentment, damaged family relationships and trauma. Through the children's eyes of the main protagonist, we look at a world split between a strict father and a fragile mother, and at a family where love is not spoken of, but where everyone is looking for their place and a way to understanding – and forgiveness.
