Human biochemistry clearly presented in 223 colour diagrams. Graphic representation is the basis of the book – The texts serve primarily to expand and supplement the legend to the images. The authors briefly introduce the reader to the main issues of chemistry and biochemistry, mentioning the connection between chemical structure and biological function or pathological processes. In the book, the reader will find current information, developments and findings from the field, the structure of important molecules, and much more. The most space in this atlas is of course devoted to human biochemistry, but it also includes the biochemistry of other animals, plants and microorganisms.
