Triptych of three short stories Christmas Miracles
Christmas is a time of wishes fulfilled... and miracles. And miraculous encounters will also occur in the lives of the heroes of this Christmas triptych. In Táňa Kubátová's short story Christmas Confessions, Šárka, a pretty and independent woman in her forties, tells herself that she is happy without a man. A partnership can go badly wrong... But the mysterious Highlander, whose real name she doesn't know, reappears after a few years in the place where she would least expect him.
In Josef Pepson Snetivý's short story The Three Kings, Johnny, an obstetrician from Kenya, doesn't even dream of the third Christmas, and a Christmas surprise appears right in front of him in the Podolá Maternity Hospital. Although he loves his work and looks forward to every birth, this time he longs to disappear without a trace. But it's too late for that...
And thirdly, an unexpected encounter: the attractive but lonely Sandra in Alexander Stainforth's short story The Girl from the Old Town doesn't trust her sister that if she makes a wish, it will really come true. Until her beautiful new coat is ruined by a distracted actor who bumps into her in Old Town Square, unaware that he is playing the lead role not only in a popular series, but also in Sandra's fantasies.
