Cat
How to live in a threesome when two of the three like each other better
Colette (1873-1954) was an important French writer, recipient of numerous literary orders and author of many world-famous novels. The Cat tells the story of a relationship between two young people in an extremely evocative and believable way, who love each other, but one of them, husband and then husband, he loves his pussy even more than he loves his wife, that he got as a kitten. The cat, unlike his wife, understands him completely, responds to his every move, while his wife has her own wishes and her own idea of what their life together will look like. In the coexistence of three beings, one of whom is a pet, there is a profound incongruity which, after several critical events, comes to a dramatic end.
Interpreted by Martina Preiss, for whom this book was an admired work even before the audio reading.
