Broken Bones

They thought they'd be safe. They were wrong. A murdered prostitute and an abandoned child - two discoveries on one winter's night kick off another disturbing investigation by Detective Inspector Kim Stone. Another that forces her to come face to face with someone from her horrific childhood. When someone then kills three more sex workers in quick succession in the Black Country, each more brutally than the last, it becomes clear that the first victim has apparently begun a string of "catches" for the serial killer. At the same time, the search is on for a desperate woman who left her newborn baby at the station. But even this initially clear-cut unfortunate case of the abandoned child takes a terrifying turn. and an equally horrifying revelation.
