Blood on the tracks
NO ONE MOVED IN OR OUT, AND STILL SOMEONE MURDERED HIM.
Daniel Hayward, star of the film Take Courage, is shot dead in a train carriage while filming on the historic Wharfedale railway. Chief Inspector Oldroyd is called in to investigate the case, bringing his girlfriend Deborah with him, thinking that they will enjoy the beauty of the English countryside together in their free time.
Oldroyd immediately begins his investigation, and the more he delves into Hayward' s past, the more heartbroken lovers and unpaid debts he finds. But before he can catch the killer, he must first find out how he managed to carry out this seemingly perfect crime - which seems to have come straight out of an Agatha Christie detective story.
Whoever the perpetrator is, he is determined to bury the truth very deep. It doesn' t take long for Oldroyd to receive his first chilling warning. It is completely obvious to the Chief Inspector that his beloved Deborah is in danger.
