In 1573, Elizabeth Báthory gives birth to an illegitimate child. The baby girl is taken to a farming family who raise her as their own. Several years later, the young Borka becomes a servant at Čachtice Castle. Borka is afraid of the Countess's reputation and the cruel women who control life at the castle. However, when the plague reaches the castle walls, an uncertain bond forms between the girl and Elizabeth.
