The continuation of a warm family story set in the picturesque town of Halleholm
Autumn has arrived in Halleholm, an idyllic coastal town near the Stockholm archipelago. Lovisa Lindegren's life has finally settled down after the events of The Cinnamon-Scented Bakery. She has big plans for her bakery, and her relationship with Axel is developing promisingly. But when illness strikes their lives, peace and tranquility are there.
Despite all the good things she has experienced in recent months, Lovisa is haunted by memories of her sister Cecilia, who succumbed to cancer. How will he deal with the fact that another loved one should suffer similarly?
Can she be supportive to her loved ones? Moreover, it seems that this is not the only crisis to hit the city as the snow approaches. Will Algot, Halleholm's favourite pensioner, manage to find his family on the other side of the world? How is Lovisa supposed to explain her best friend Rebecca's mysterious behaviour? And can he finally come to terms with the loss of Cecilia and repair his relationship with Axel?
The Bakery Full of Life is a continuation of a warm family story set against the backdrop of the picturesque town of Halleholm, where tradition and old wrongs meet modern romance and intrigue - all over fresh cinnamon snails and a cup of hot chocolate.
