At Shelter 5 - this is the address of the children's home where seven-year-old Ben and his sister are placed after their mother is arrested and convicted in 1948. This book of short stories describes two years spent in a home through the eyes of a seven-year-old boy. The author finally met his mother after twenty years, and his sister after forty...The book was written in 1963, but all publishing houses rejected it, so it waited until 2003 to be published - and was subsequently nominated for the Magnesia Litera Award. LUKÁŠ PŘÍKAZKÝ (* 1985) Czech theatre, film and television actor. He studied acting at the Brno Conservatory and then at the DAMU, where he graduated in 2010. From 2008 to 2010 he worked at the Municipal Theatres of Prague and since 2010 he has been engaged by the Vinohrady Theatre. Since 1 September 2018 he has been a member of the Dejvice Theatre ensemble. IVANA UHLÍŘOVÁ (* 1980) Czech theatre and film actress graduated from the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava. She then worked at the Petr Bezruč Theatre in Ostrava, followed by an engagement at the theatre in Karlovy Vary and after a break of several years she finally managed to make her way in several professional theatres in Prague and Brno. Her most important work was at the Comedy Theatre, and she is currently working at the Studio Hrdinů, but she has also been a guest on German stages in Vienna, Munich, Bremen and Zurich. She has twice won the Alfréd Radok Award, first as Talent of the Year in 2006 and four years later in the category of Female Performance for her role of Elisabeth in the production of Faith, Love, Hope. She first appeared in front of the camera in an unforgettable way in the film Boredom in Brno (2003), since then she has regularly appeared in films (among others.
