At the mercy of predators

In the clutches of online dating. A contemporary thriller from a Magnesia Litera winner.

After a long-term relationship falls apart, thirty-eight-year-old Zuzana creates a Tinder profile, but she soon begins to regret it. It seems one of the men she rejected couldn't handle the disappointment. Dozens of vulgar messages suggest that someone is constantly watching her and getting bolder by the day. Christmas Eve is approaching, the days are getting shorter, and the darkness is full of prying eyes and stealthy footsteps. And in this game of cat and mouse, the pursuer has a crucial advantage—he knows far too much about his prey. His insinuations reopen old wounds and bring up past transgressions... and it's clear he will stop at nothing. In her third thriller, the Magnesia Litera winner explores the theme of stalking.
