Armoured personnel carrier OT-62 TOPAS

This comprehensive publication on the development, production and individual versions of the OT-62 armoured personnel carrier provides information that has not been covered to a similar extent before.

The author drew mainly from the archival documents of the Military Central Archive in Prague. In the individual chapters the readers will get acquainted in detail with the development of the new transporter from the preliminary project through the production of prototypes to the serial design and its use in the CSLA units, where it served not only for the transport of motorized artillery units, but also for the fire support of fighting units due to its organic armament. The individual designs are described in detail, including prototype versions that did not make it into series production. The modifications used in the Polish army are also mentioned.

The texts are accompanied by a large number of photographs, some of which have never been published before.
