When the king was widowed, he found a new wife, the queen of earth, fire and wind. However, the new mistress longed for more power and therefore began to hate the king's daughter, Joan, the heir to the throne. In her undying anger, the Queen has grown a flower from her blood that can grant her three wishes. The royal fool, a good-natured and wise jester, manages to see that these are not good wishes. He cleverly advises the king to marry off his daughter and hand over the reigns to the newlywed Prince Radovan. The Evil Queen, however, is not going to just lose.
