Alone in the crowd
The book Alone in the Crowd contains 25 short stories, which are a selection from Martin Furmanik’s short story collections. The main characters of the stories are similar. Although they live in a community of people, they are alone. Alone with their thoughts, alone in the fight with their demons, alone in the fight with windmills. Some are not successful in this fight, while others are. And sometimes they find that they are not so alone after all.
