Alena Vostrá: There is a cross with women

The writer and playwright Alena Vostrá shone in the 1960s with her narrative and compositional unusual prose and theatre plays. However, the onset of normalisation silenced her and she continued to write intensively for children. She has also collaborated with Czech Radio for a long time and participated in productions for children and adults. In a monodrama that marks the 80th anniversary of her birth, she opens with the tragicomic story of an aging, indecisive man.
