Sunday mornings with radio confessor and revival
Selected chapters from the books of the same name were read by leading actors (Libuše Švormová, Jana Preiss, Josef Somr, Jiri Labus, Nadya Konvalinková, Viktor Preiss, Ladislav Frej, Jan Potměšil and many others). They are therefore not available or preserved in the radio archive.
By publishing the audiobooks O květině and Violin Key, we are fulfilling, among other things, the wishes of those who want to return to Zuzana Maléřová's texts, to listen to them again, to search for their own feelings, hopes and aspirations in them.
Writer Zuzana Maléřová has been cooperating with Czech Radio since her professional beginnings and it has become an inseparable part of her life. It inspired her to write the audiobooks About a Flower (radio confessional) and Fiddle Key (radio wake-up calls). Both audiobooks are characterised by the author's close contact with listeners and readers, her refined use of language and the intimate experiences, stories and reflections that she confides in them as her loved ones in the silence of the night or early morning. All of this is accompanied by portraits of the famous and the unknown, poems set to music, the cycle of nature and man's ability to withstand and overcome obstacles.
