A remarkable journey home

Five years. So long, Sunrise Coyote and her father Rodeo have been crisscrossing the country in an old yellow school bus. They are trying to forget their former home. Wherever he decides to go, he goes - regardless of distance. It looks like a truly unbridled life, but the real adventure is yet to come.

When Coyote learns that in four days the park in her old neighborhood, where she and her sisters and mother once buried a tin box of memories, will be demolished, she uses a false pretext to convince Rodeo to turn the bus around and take the long trip home. The race against time begins. The bus gradually becomes a home for other travelers in need, who are offered a ride by Sunrise: Lester heads to see his girlfriend, Salvador and his mother dream of a new beginning, Val looks for a place where she can be herself, and then there' s Gladys.

Will Coyote make it to the mailbox in time? Will Rodeo finally be able to come to terms with his painful past? And what role can unknown people, brought across their path by fate, play in this?
