A. R. Belyaev.

Screenwriter Radek Veselý adapted the novel by Alexander Romanovich Belyaev, a writer who has devoted his life to science fiction literature and, as he himself admitted, was very impressed by reading the works of Jules Verne. The novel's main character, Dr. Salvator, is forced by circumstances to have shark gills implanted in a young boy. The operation succeeds and the boy is able to live underwater and on land. This fact will only come to light many years later. The creators of the radio play, under the direction of director Vladimír Gromov, managed to build a colourful story enhanced by music and sound design, who has everything, what this genre demands - a taste of adventure, Voltage, romance and somewhere in the background the question, how to actually deal with the findings of science, Question, which is just as relevant today, as it was in 1928, when the novel Amphibian Man was first published.
