A Book for Spiritual Joy

Carlo Acutis, Chiara “Luce” Badano, Pier Giorgio Frassati, Alberto Marvelli, Gianna Beretta Molla, Giuseppe (Pino) Puglisi, Dominic Savio – seven figures who are united by more than just having lived in Italy in recent times.

Different life stories, but one faith, love for God and for their neighbours, which led them to sainthood. Their lives, concern for the suffering, and patient endurance of illness made them not only examples to follow, but also intercessors with God in the most diverse, often desperate, situations.

The novenas contained in this slim book can become an inspiration for prayer, and the short profiles may encourage an interest in getting to know these modern-day saints better.
